A Cosmic Connectedness, a Oneness By Edward Solon Hagedorn Mayor, Puerto Princesa City; Chairperson Emeritus (one of two), World Environment Day—Philippines Network; Global 500 Awardee of the United Nations; Founding Chairperson, TagBalay Foundation. These lines were carried by the full-color poster of the TagBalay Foundation many years ago. THERE IS A COSMIC CONNECTEDNESS in which we all partake, a oneness with the terrestial, the marine and the universe. We cannot live in isolation from nature and from our fellow human beings. Just as we are governed by laws made by man, nature likewise promulgates her own laws for all of us. So it is only fitting that we protect what is left of our environment, rehabilitate what has been destroyed, and plan for the intelligent utilization of our resources for future generations. Environment can do without us, but we can never do without the environment. This page of the Lambat-Liwanag On-Line Library is supported by:
